Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems
This vacuum cleaner is an ideal choice for apartment dwellers as it has smaller docking systems and carries its own rubbish bin. The app allows you to set different modes and monitor cleans, plus the mopping function is impressive.
Its mapping and obstacle avoidance are impressive, while it is able to mops extremely well cleaning up pet hair, spills and dirt. It also self-empties itself and self-cleans and refills its water tank.
Roomba Combination from iRobot
The iRobot Combo includes mopping in addition to the already impressive vacuuming capabilities of the robot. The iRobotCombo can't replace our Editors' Choice winner, the Deebot X1 Omni. It is more efficient and comes with an app that's mobile and easier to use but it's an excellent alternative. In our tests it was consistently able to remove dirt of all sizes and types from hard floors and carpets. Its obstacle avoidance system isn't among the most advanced in the world, and isn't equipped with structured light and other technology like LiDAR, but it was able to avoid most collisions with furniture and other clutter.
The Combo features most of the same smarts as the j7 Plus, including new onboard acoustic sensors to determine floor type and AI-powered navigation, but isn't able to set suction power manually. It's also a little less compact than its vacuum-only counterpart and it doesn't have self-empty docks.
Based on my experience in my experience, the Combo is a great option for most homes and its sleek design is one of the top in the industry. The matte black finish is more elegant than the glossy or metallic finishes of the majority of competitors. iRobot also adds some classier touches, such as the leather tab to open the bin on board and a shelf that can hold bags in the dock. The iRobot Combo also allows you to create maps of your home, and to set up Keep-Out Zones and No-Mop Zones and Clean Zones.
Roborock
Roborock, a relatively new player in the robotic mop and vacuum industry, has already made its mark with a suite innovative cleaning technologies. The brand's vacuums have industry-leading suction, and its mopping systems utilize vibrating mops that scrub floors clean. Furthermore, a range of scheduling and mapping options lets you adjust the bot's cleaning schedule for your specific home.
Roborock's obstacle avoidance feature enables the robot to detect objects that are smaller than its own height. This is particularly beneficial for Roborock's most popular models, like the Qrevo Master. It is the best in its class when it comes to navigation, thanks to both vSLAM, and LiDAR. Other robovacs are known to slam into furniture and slam into pet faeces and faeces with no awareness, but the Qrevo Master solves this issue by using a Reactive AI system that makes use of twin cameras to discern objects in a room.
Roborock robots are also equipped with numerous convenience features that help reduce day-to-day maintenance. These include docks that can automatically empty themselves and multi-functional mop washing stations. These features make it unnecessary to empty dustbins or wash mops manually, making for a truly hands free ownership experience. Plus, the app's simple layout and fast connection to the robot make it easy to use.
Hobot Legee D8
With a variety of cleaning modes that are integrated and advanced mopping options, the Hobot Legee is among the top robot vacuums/mops for wet and dry floors. Its advanced navigation system combines five different technologies to design and execute a route that is most efficient. It also detects different flooring materials, as well as obstacles with pinpoint accuracy. It can even raise itself 7mm to glide on carpets. The smart spray system makes use of the right amount of water to remove stains without leaving unsightly water marks.
The Legee, the Gen 4 Robot, competes directly with the Eufy Robovac X9 or Ecovacs Deebot T20. Both of them cost more. It has more features than either one, including the more flexible D-shaped body that is able to clean the corners and under cabinets better than a round robot. Its sensors include 360deg 3D (Lidar, Encoder, Gyro E-compass, and Encoder) four forward-facing and one right-side-facing FDS (IR ToF sensors for distance) and two cliff detectors front and back (most robots only have one pair). The robot also includes Legee SLAM, which reduces the bump-and grind problems that plague Gen 4 Robots.
In contrast to other robots, unlike other robots, the Legee comes with a built-in trash compactor, and is compatible with the less noisy 5 GHz Wi-Fi band. The LuLu mop wash station is included and washes, refills and dry your mop's 'cloth. This means that you can use it for up to six times longer than with other mop cloths. It also reduces waste and the frequency of bin emptying.
Karcher RCV 5
Popular for its pressure washers and garden tools, Karcher has been dabbling in robot vacuums for a while, and it's the most tech-savvy model. It is powered by LiDAR and creates maps of your house and can be programmed to mop or vacuum. It also can tell the distinction between carpets and hard floors, so that you don't get water puddles on your precious pile.
Its navigation is flawless and it can navigate around furniture or rugs with ease. It can even raise itself over steps. The robot can be customized with different settings, including cleaning schedules and rooms it will clean. It also has a handy emergency button that will oblige the robot to return to the base if it runs out of power and it can also be programmed to automatically shut itself off if it is a threat of storm.
The RCV 5 is very easy to use and, despite being heavy at almost 4kg, you won't have difficulty moving it around furniture. Children with small hands will appreciate the safety features such as sensors that warn it to stay clear of stairs. Once it is charged the device will take only a few hours to recharge and the two buttons on the top will flash in green to let you that it is ready to use.
Mova E30 Ultra
The Mova E30 Ultra robot vacuum cleaner is a robot that is able to combine advanced technology with affordability. It is a rival to models such as the Dreame L10 Ultra and Roborock's Q Revo. Despite its less expensive price it is worth the price. Mova E30 Ultra offers features that more expensive models can't compete with. It utilizes sensors to adjust the settings to different surfaces and floors as well as find areas with dirtier surfaces. It can also move at a slower pace to prevent the destruction of furniture and walls.
The device can map your home's interior that you can view through the app. auto vacuum can also mark rooms and objects you want the vacuum to stay away from. The device will slow down when it spots an obstacle and prevent itself from hitting it. It also has a smart dustbins that notify you when it's full, so you can empty it before you need to.
The Mova E30 Ultra offers a affordable option for those who wish to delegate their cleaning chores. It's a robot mop and vacuum that will clean your floors without having to lift a finger. It is designed with a clever layout which improves cleaning at corners by up to 60%. It has suction power of up to 7,000 Pa and a RoboSwing arm, and is controlled by the app or voice assistants like Alexa or Siri.
Beko RCV3

The Beko Robotic Vacuum/Mop RCV3 is an elegant, feature-packed vacuum and mop. It does an excellent job of keeping floors neat and tidy. It can't lift its mops to clean carpets and rug as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV ultra, but it is very good at cleaning hard floors. It also has a self-emptying bin, delivers a good level of suction power, provides a number of mopping options, and is controlled by a top quality app that is compatible with both iOS and Android.
It's a bit smaller than the competition, and its main brush is shorter but it still managed to do a good job in our test room. The rotating brush on the side that is used for edges is a nice addition and, while it couldn't lift dirt from our rugs and carpets like other competitors but it did a good job overall.
The robot can be programmed to have individual cleaning parameters for each room. It can then create detailed maps using the built-in LiDAR navigation. It's easy to control using the app, and a range of voice output options can inform you about the condition of your home robot. Regular software updates enhance and improve the capabilities. The app can also be used to remotely manage the RCV3 when you're not at home.
